24 hours, 20 people and three iconic peaks to climb – that’s the challenge we’re taking on in June.
Together, we would like to raise £10,000 for the Magic Breakfast charity, which works with schools and local authorities to provide children with free school breakfasts.
We’ll be climbing all three of the UK’s highest peaks - one after another - in 24 hours. Starting with Ben Nevis in Scotland, at 1345 meters, then Scafell Pike in England, which is 978 meters, and then finally Snowdon in Wales, which is 1085 meters high.
That’s 26 miles in total and 3,400 meters of ascent!
The countdown is on...

Life is always more rewarding if you challenge yourself! Getting (hopefully) a bit fitter, getting closer to colleagues and raising money for an amazing charity like Magic Breakfast seems like a fabulous combination.
Phil Atyeo
Managing Director, Caterfood Buying Group
At Caterfood Buying Group we have a lot of people who are very driven and like a challenge! We’ve not done something like this before, as a company, and I’m sure it’s going to push many of us – including myself – to our limits. But having such a worthwhile charity to support will make it a lot easier.
Tom Workman
Commercial Director, Caterfood Buying Group
A good opportunity to support a fantastic charity, a tough personal challenge and a great achievement (If I do it!).
Brett Ansell
Head of Purchasing, Caterfood SW
Like mountains that are meant to be conquered, I hope by giving back a little, we can eventually change the narrative and conquer the morning hunger issue in schools.
George Baxter
National Operational Support Manager, Caterfood Buying Group
I am not the most active person so to get the opportunity to push my limits for a great cause with some great people was a no brainer.
Paul Brittain
Managing Director, Turner Price
Climbing the National Three Peaks in 24 hours is no small challenge, but it's nothing compared to the daily struggles faced by thousands of children without access to a proper breakfast. Supporting Magic Breakfast means helping to give every child the fuel they need to learn, grow, and thrive. That’s why I’m putting one foot in front of the other with some great colleagues from the Caterfood Buying Group.
Simon Davison
Managing Director, South Lincs Foodservice
I’m raising money for a truly impactful charity—one that transforms the lives of underprivileged children by providing them with the food they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
Paige Felton
Head of Sales, Caterfood SW
I’ve signed up for the Challenge as its always been something I would like to do, I love a challenge and I want to keep pushing my limits and be the strongest version of me.
Kai Felton
Managing Director, Caterfood SW
I am climbing the three peaks for Magic Breakfast because no child should start the day hungry. I'm sure I will be questioning my life choices at some point about a mile in... but knowing as a team we are all in it together for a fantastic cause will drive me on!
Naomi Fudge
PA to Philip Atyeo, Caterfood Buying Group
Taking on the Three Peaks is going to be a test of mental and physical strength but signing up for this was a no brainer for me as someone who loves a challenge. I may need reminding of that while doing it but to know that pushing myself for 24 hours means I can help more children have a healthy and nutritious breakfast to start the day will keep me going.

Magic Breakfast is a fantastic charity working to ensure no child in the UK starts the day too hungry to learn. We know the three peaks won't be easy, there'll be sore legs, very little sleep and a lot of uphill battles... but we're determined to complete it and raise as much as we can for this vital cause.
Carly Redington
Group Account Controller
As a mum of a young boy, working in the foodservice industry, the importance of him going to school with a proper nutritional breakfast resonates with me and is vital to his learning and development.
It saddens me that not all families have the ability to send their child to school with the knowledge they have a full stomach and are ready to learn. Although the thought of the Three Peaks Challenge puts the fear of god in me, being able to do it to raise money for such an amazing charity is so worth it!
Franswa Snodgrass
Managing Director, Elite Fine Foods
This will be a pretty big challenge but one I'm very happy to take on. Our team from Elite have been doing some great training walks around the South Downs and we'll do as much as we can to be ready for the Three Peaks!
Ian Winstanley
Head of Purchasing, Elite Fine Foods
Three mountains, countless blisters, and one big reason — making sure every child gets the breakfast they need to thrive.
